I’m excited to be a Snowbound Ambassador because I believe in the impact community members can have in creating change. When community members are involved in large events, it helps center the needs of the participants in what they’re interested in seeing, which speakers would inspire conversation, and it signals an investment in what the participants’ interests are. I’ve had the privilege of serving as a community ambassador for Arc’teryx Boston, and I used my experience and knowledge of outdoor rock and ice climbing to help shape events that catered to folks’ interests, while also strengthening Arc’teryx’s customer base. I facilitated climbing meet-ups, instructed rock and ice climbing clinics, and led community panels that around outdoor recreation barriers and outdoor justice. I’m interested in bringing my experience to the Snowbound Expo 2026!
