2023 Speaker announcements

Julia is an Olympic cross country skier and outdoor enthusiast.

At the age of 25, she has become a veteran on the U.S. Cross Country Ski Team, competing for the national team the past 8 consecutive years. Most recently she earned Bronze in the team sprint at 2023 World Championships in addition to her 3 World Cup career podiums.

When Julia is not skiing, she is seeking outdoor adventures with others, whether she is climbing a mountain, surfing waves, or biking through the forest.

Ted Ligety

We’re beyond excited to have Mr Giant Slalom joining us at the 2023 Snowbound Expo.

With his unique successes, Ted has long since secured a place for himself in alpine skiing history. Ted Ligety has won two Olympic Gold medals and five World Championship Gold medals.

Ted Ligety is not only successful on skis, but also in his business. He owns the Shred brand, which sells helmets, ski goggles, sunglasses and gloves, among other things. Away from skiing he enjoys mountain biking, water skiing and tennis. And he loves to cook, too.

Rob Roethler

Watch one clip of this 6’6” ripper and it’s clear that Rob Roethler has everything he loves within reach.

It’s pure pleasure to witness this Midwest transplant’s breezy street lines and effortless, stalled out park spins. A proven multitasker, Rob juggled filming clips for the award-winning “The Dustbox Presents” while earning his marketing degree. The best part of this towering freestyle rider is that even when he’s looking down from above, he’s all about elevating his SLC crew.
