The Inspiration Stage
This is the big stage at Snowbound, and every session is free with your ticket. No sign-up, no upgrade. Walk in and sit down.
Travis Rice is on twice on Saturday, first with Natural Selection Tour co-founder Liam Griffin, then solo with “Reckless Optimism”. Sunday opens with Olympic champion Jessie Diggins and closes with East Coast freeskiing legend Tom Wallisch. Kimmy Fasani is on Saturday morning and back on Sunday with snowboard photographer Dean Blotto Gray.
The rest of the lineup covers a lot of ground:
- Ride smarter: Jay Broccolo of Mount Washington Observatory shows you how to read a forecast before you ride, and Dr. Chrissy Semler breaks down the psychology of progression on snow.
- Bigger stories: Ellen Bradley screens her film and sits down for a fireside chat about skiing on Native land. Deaf mountaineers Scott and Shayna talk about climbing over obstacles.
- East Coast riding: Filmmaker Dan Callahan introduces up-and-coming riders Athena Comeau and Sophia Bruck.
The Alpine Runway also takes this stage three times over the weekend, including the headline set on Saturday night.
