Following the buzz from past achievements at Red Bull All-Snow, and podium finishes at the X Games, Snowbound Expo has announced that trailblazing snowboarder Zeb Powell will headline at this year’s event in November. Powell’s heading to the snow sports community meet-up in New England, that kicks off the 2025/26 season. The expo returns November 14-16, 2025, at the Menino Convention & Exhibition Center, Boston.
Known for his fearless creativity and signature style, Powellfirst captured the world’s attention in 2020 by winning gold in Knuckle Huck at the Winter X Games in Aspen,becoming the first Black snowboarder to win an X Games gold medal. Since then, he has remained a fixture on the podium, earning silver in 2024 and continuing to push the boundaries of the sport. When he’s not competing, Powell is equally dedicated to building an inclusive future for snow sports. He is an ambassador for Hoods to Woods, a nonprofit connecting underrepresented youth to the mountains, and leads the Red Bull Slide-In Tour, a road-trip-style showcase that stops at East Coast resorts to inspire and engage the snowboarding community.
Powell will be joined by an outstanding roster of snow sports talent at Snowbound Expo, throughout the weekend, all of whom will be interviewed by host, Mary Walsh. Amie Engerbretson, professional freeride skier, film producer, and host of the “Long Underwear” podcast, brings her experience from starring in Warren Miller and Teton Gravity Research films, along with her advocacy work as Protect Our Winters’ 2021 Alliance Member of the Year. Donny Pelletier, dubbed “Maine’s Finest Athlete,” delivers his trademark humor and passion for the rugged culture of the Pine Tree State. Todd Ligare, a Park City–based big-mountain skier and former NCAA racer, is renowned for his jaw-dropping descents in Alaska and British Columbia, as featured in Teton Gravity Research films. Rising snowboard star LJ Henriquez, fresh from his debut at X Games Aspen 2025, will share how his journey from learning to ride at age three in Brooklyn and New Jersey led him to the world stage. Together with other notable speakers and hosts, they will inspire and entertain the Snowbound Expo audience with fireside chats and panel discussions..
