Denver, Colorado native Chris Anthony received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Colorado, studied film production at USC in Los Angeles while interning for Mike Douglas at Douglas Reuther Productions.
As an athlete Chris Anthony competed at an international level in both road cycling and skiing. At points of his athletic career placing him as a full-time resident at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs which stoked his interest in Human Physiology and Biomechanics. His skiing connected him with Warren Miller Entertainment where for 28 years, Chris traveled an athlete, host and MC for the production company. He has been a featured athlete in 29 of their annual films as well obtained more credits in through their television productions.
The proceeding experiences provided opportunities in the media business. Chris developed his skills as free-lancer for several publications. Leading to opportunities that consisted of co-authoring a guidebook, commission to write a screenplay, as well as host and produce several television and film projects.
His latest credit is writing, directing, editing, hosting as well self-producing an award-winning documentary about the 10th Mountain Division entitled “Mission Mt. Mangart. Winner of Best Historical Documentary at the Cannes World Film Festival. The documentary tours and raises money for his non-profit the Chris Anthony Youth Initiative Project.
Chris has been booked for hundreds of speaking engagements and started a consulting and guide business. The guide business has evolved too design boutique ski trips which raise money for the Chris Anthony Youth Initiative Project.
Leading up to the creation of the Chris Anthony Youth Initiative Project, Chris volunteered thousands of hours for a number of charitable organizations, raising over million dollars on their behalf prior to building his own youth outreach project that has impacted over 100,000 students.
