Born in Brooklyn & raised in The Garden State in the town of Little Falls, LJ Henriquez is one of the top talents coming out of the New Jersey snowboard scene. Starting at just 3yrs old, LJ found his passion in snowboarding early, and hasn’t looked back since. His staunch training regimen involves traveling coast to coast in North America, at some of the world’s premiere resort destinations. When home however, you can find him right here at Big SNOW American Dream, which he affectionately calls ‘The Fridge’.
LJ’s dedicated training ranges from leisurely park laps to highly focused slopestyle & pipe runs. Recently, his training was put on display as the youngest rider in this season’s Dew Tour Mens Snowboard Super Streestyle contest, pitting the 15yr old against some of the heaviest hitters in the game, nearly twice his age! LJ advanced to the second round of the event, eventually falling in a head-to-head battle with the eventual winner, Nate Haust.
With his laser focused attention to detail, progression, and most importantly fun, this young phenom brings a trifecta of value to the table which will only grow, as the years go on!
