Snowbound Expo will take place November 15-17, 2024, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center
Snowbound Expo is thrilled to announce that Hannah Kearney, Olympic gold medallist and World Champion skier, will headline the Inspiration Stage, sponsored by Monster Energy, at Snowbound Expo 2024. The expo will return November 15-17, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, in collaboration with Colorado Ski Shop, the official retail partner for this year’s event.
The consumer expo, dedicated to winter sport enthusiasts, aims to equip skiers and snowboarders with gear and expert advice to inspire them for the upcoming season. The event expects to welcome thousands of visitors, including New England residents, students, families, and the winter sports community.
Kearney, a celebrated figure in the skiing world, is renowned for her remarkable career achievements. Growing up in Vermont, she balanced school, other sports, and skiing. At just 16, she qualified for the U.S. National Ski Team, launching a career that includes three Olympics, three World Championships gold medals, and a record 16 consecutive World Cup wins, totalling 46 World Cup victories. Kearney retired in 2015, tying the record for most World Cup wins on her final day of competition.
Since retiring, Kearney has continued to impact the sports world. She graduated from Westminster College with a marketing degree, earned a personal trainer certification from the American Council on Exercise, and now works as a sports performance trainer. Additionally, she serves as an Athlete Gift Officer for the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team’s Foundation, was on the International Ski Federation (FIS) Council and is a board member of the Youth Sports Alliance.
Kearney will join a strong line-up of speakers and experts who will share their experiences and insights with visitors at the expo. The line up announced so far includes American downhill skier Alice Merryweather, Austrian professional snowboarder Gigi Ruf and Caite Zeliff who raced FIS and Nor Am levels. Visitors will also see award-winning broadcaster and film producer, and a ski legend Dan Egan, plus Snowbound Expo host and Editor Mary Walsh.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore and shop from a wide range of renowned brands. Retail is back and bigger than ever before with Colorado Ski Shop as the Official Retail Partner who will sell gear for visitors to buy and take home the same day. There are also over 180 brands to shop the cool new lines from 2024/25 including Burgeon Outdoor, Nordica, Darn Tough, 2FRNT Skis, CEP Compression, DaleBoot Custom Made Ski Boots, Fischer Sports, J Skis, Meier Skis, Lamont Joseph White, Kulkea, Nikwax North America, Oosc, Parlor Skis, Subaru of New England, Stockli, Ski the East, Teton Gravity Research and more.
