Hannah Teter is a World Champion and two-time Olympic medal winning snowboarder. Born in Belmont, VT, Hannah is from a family of snowboarding professionals, with brothers who have competed on the US team, and one brother who works as her agent and manager with the Octagon Agency.
Hannah’s snowboarding record extends well beyond her 2006 Gold and 2010 Silver medals in the Olympic Halfpipe. With seven X Games medals, podium performances at the 2009 Winter Dew Tour, the Australian Open and 2011 New Zealand Open, and a 2006 ESPY Award for Best Female Action Sport Athlete, Teter lead the field in women’s freestyle snowboarding through the 2000s and into the 2010s.
Off the snow, Hannah is engaged in using her platform as one of the US’s greatest snowboarders to make a positive difference in the world. She is the first and only Action Sports Athlete Global Ambassador for the Special Olympics, heads up a non-profit, Hannah’s Gold, which sells Vermont Maple Syrup with the proceeds supporting the town of Kirindon in Kenya.
