John Dobermiller

John Dobermiller has decades experience in the ski industry including past Merck Corporate Ski Club President and trip organizer. For the last 10 years he has served as Mountain Host/Tour Guide for Ski 93 Trips serving Vermont and New Hampshire.

John has skied much of the American West and internationally at St Anton, Val d’Isere, and Zermatt while being proud to call New England home. He is currently on the Executive Board of Brettl Hupfers Ski Club in Bartlett, New Hampshire and is that club’s representative to the Eastern InterClub Ski League (EISCL) – an umbrella group of 20 clubs serving New Hampshire’s White Mountains.

John holds EPIC, IKON, and White Mountain Super passes.

I am an active downhill skier, cyclist, backpacker, and RV traveler roaming New England in my conversion van. In ‘22 I revisited Stratton Mountain and Mt Snow (VT) after being away for several years and I discovered the gold mine that is Shawnee Peak (ME).

I’m looking forward to kicking off the ‘22-23 ski season, renewing connections, making new contacts, and seeing the latest innovations. Chamonix is on my ‘23 trip list. I’ve attended the Serius lecture series on inclusion of minorities in winter sports and support diversity in skiing.
