My name is John, and I’m honored to be an ambassador. My life and work are deeply rooted in the outdoors. I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Maine, studying Natural Resource and Environmental Studies with a focus on outdoor recreation. My research explores how we can better connect with and protect our natural spaces.
I’m also a Maine Guide, which allows me to share my passion for the wild by leading trips and teaching others about safe and responsible adventuring.
Recently, I gained a following on TikTok after documenting my solo canoe trip down the Hudson River. This journey unexpectedly became a platform for me to inspire others to explore the outdoors and raise awareness for environmental conservation. I am excited to start planning my winter cross country adventure to ski across New Hampshire and the snowbound expo would be the place to be!
